Ocean Emperor is the first overseas contender for next Saturday’s $1.5 million Invitational Kranji Mile (1600m) to have landed in Singapore.
The New Zealand representative touched down from Auckland on Thursday afternoon, accompanied by apprentice jockey Tui Miles.
A little more than two hours later, the Gary Hennessy-trained dual Group Two winner was safely tucked away in his box at the International Stables at Kranji.
Singapore Turf Club’s veterinary surgeon Dr Brenda Low reported that the six-year-old entire by Zabeel was a dream horse to deal with.
