Smart three-year-old Flying Feet will be off the scene for some time.
“He’s due to have a couple of chips taken out so he’s more of a long-term project,” trainer Joe Waldron said.
“He’ll be 12 months away from racing, but he’s worth the wait. If he stays in one piece, he’ll be an exciting horse.”
The son of Ocean Park raced three times during the summer for a win and two runner-up finishes.
