Cossastock is in good shape to resume his New Zealand career.
The son of Tavistock will step out in the Craig Thom Memorial 1215m at Rotorua on Saturday in the hands of Maija Vance.
“Maija won on him at the trials and the horse has come back well from Australia,” trainer Andrew Campbell said.
He prepared the four-year-old to run second on debut at Awapuni last season before the gelding joined the Cranbourne stable of Trent Busuttin and Natalie Young.
“He won one over there, but the tracks were a bit firm for him – he needs a bit of cut in the ground,” Campbell said.
