Trainers Mick Brown and Sue Thompson will persevere with the unpredictable Zed Leppelin in a jumping role.
“You can catch him once and then the next time he’ll disappoint you,” Brown said.
Zed Lepellin was in the right mood on the flat at Woodville on Thursday when he led all the way to win the Gavelhouse.com Auction Online Now Jumpers’ Highweight (2100m).
“He’s had a few hurdle starts and that’s where he’s going next at Hastings,” Brown said.
Zed Leppelin was pulled up in both of his last two jumping outings last winter.
