Roger That’s affinity with Te Awamutu continued on Wednesday with a dominant performance in the Fiber Fresh 2000m at the Waipa meeting.
All four of the Shinko King five-year-old’s wins have now come on the course, including a successful return from a five-month break at his previous appearance.
“Waipa’s a good place at the moment,” trainer Antony Fuller said. “After he won last time he coughed a bit and got a skin rash so that’s why we came back rather than going straight to a Saturday race.”
