Group performer Brighton has gone for a break.
“He went out after the Easter, he doesn’t really like wet tracks, and we’ll have him back for the spring,” trainer Nigel Tiley said.
Brighton was a last-start second behind his stablemate Megablast in the Gr.2 Easter Handicap (1600m).
Tiley said he had also turned out Makdanife, who won for the third time in his career earlier this month at Pukekohe Park.
