Talented mare She’s Poppy is closing in on a return to racing.
“She likes a bit of racing and she’s been working well,” part-owner and trainer Raymond Connors said. “She might kick off in the Rangitikei Gold Cup in a couple of weeks.”
The winner of six races, She’s Poppy was spelled after she finished seventh in the Gr.3 New Zealand Cup (3200m).
