Unbeaten three-year-old Detentore is proving he’s been worth waiting for.
The son of Keeper followed up his successful Foxton debut with a gallant front-running display to win again at Waipukurau on Thursday.
“He’s taken some time and the owners are being rewarded now,” trainer Fraser Auret said. “He’s got a very bright future. We’ll look after him and press on at the same time now.”
