Brisbane campaigns for smart fillies Mark Two and Pierrocity have been ruled out.
Trainer Stephen Marsh had been considering tilts at the Gr.1 Queensland Oaks (2400m), but has decided to spell the pair.
“They’ve both come a relatively long way in a short time so they’ve gone to the paddock,” he said.
Mark Two was runner-up in the Gr.2 Sir Tristram Fillies’ Classic (2000m) and finished fifth in the Gr.1 New Zealand Oaks (2400m) at just her fourth appearance while Pierrocity has won once and was a last-start fourth in the Gr.2 Championship Stakes (2100m).
Marsh’s only Queensland representative will be Chocante, who has the Gr.1 Doomben Cup (2000m) on his programme.
