Belle Du Nord’s connections have decided against a start in Saturday’s Gr.1 Schweppes Oaks (2000m) at Morphettville with the filly to return home for a spell.
“She’s showing signs of coming to the end of her preparation, it’s been a long campaign for her,” said David Browne, who prepares the Group One-performed daughter of Reliable Man with his wife Emma-Lee.
Belle Du Nord’s two Adelaide outings resulted in a fifth in the Listed Laelia Stakes (1600m) before a last-start third in the Gr.3 Schweppervescence Stakes (1600m).
