Regular Queensland visitor Mark Du Plessis will ride at Doomben on Saturday.
The Karaka-based jockey will partner the Robert Heathcote-trained Stella Victoria in a three-year-old event over 1350m.
“My agent over there asked me if I was coming over and I didn’t have anything booked here so I’ll go and come back on Sunday,” he said.
Du Plessis is in good form and continued his unbeaten association with Peter and Dawn Williams’ smart filly Media Sensation at Avondale on Wednesday.
“She won very well and she’s done everything right,” he said.
