Stablemates Thee Auld Floozie and Ruud Not Too are both in top order ahead of the Gr.1 Fiber Fresh New Zealand Thoroughbred Breeders’ Stakes (1600m) at Te Aroha on Saturday week.
The Stephen Marsh-trained duo were both unplaced in their lead-up outings in the Gr.2 Japan-New Zealand Trophy (1600m) on rain-affected ground.
“They’ve come through it well, they both look great and are better for the race, and all they need at Te Aroha are good draws and a good track,” Marsh said.
