Three New Zealand-bred gallopers figure prominently in the latest Longines World’s Best Racehorse Rankings.
The Hong Kong-based trio of Beauty Generation, D B Pin and Werther are all rated 119 to share seventh spot.
Road To Rock’s son Beauty Generation (who raced as Montaigne in Australia) won the Gr.1 Queen’s Silver Jubilee Cup (1400m) at Sha Tin at his latest appearance while D B Pin, by Darci Brahma, triumphed in the Gr.1 Centenary Sprint Cup (1200m) in January.
Tavistock six-year-old Werther was a last-start second in the Gr.1 Hong Kong Gold Cup (2000m).
The Longines rankings are headed by the American galloper Gun Runner and the champion mare Winx, both sharing a rating of 129.
