Leading rider Opie Bosson believes Swing Note can master the distance of Saturday’s Gr.1 Al Basti Equiworld Dubai New Zealand Oaks (2400m) at Trentham.
The Stephen Autridge and Jamie Richards-trained Encosta de Lago filly returned a solid trial when fourth behind Savvy Coup in the Gr.3 Lowland Stakes (2100m).
“We got caught wide with no cover and she did well to stick on like she did, she pretty much ran 2400m,” Bosson said. “If we can get some cover I think she can get some of it.”
