John Bell’s Cambridge stable has been hit by a further tragedy.
On Monday, his multiple stakes-placed filly Kapoor shattered a fetlock during a working gallop in preparation for this weekend’s Gr.1 Al Basti Equiworld Dubai New Zealand Oaks (2400m) and had to be humanely euthanised.
Bell has now suffered another body blow with the loss of the talented Enough, who won twice from a handful of starts. The son of O’Reilly has been buried on the property alongside Kapoor.
