The immediate future of the dual Group One winner Lizzie L’Amour has yet to be confirmed.
She was unsuccessful in her bid last Saturday to retain her Gr.1 New Zealand Stakes (2000m) title at Ellerslie where she found the ground against her.
“The track was too firm for her and she didn’t let go like she can,” co-trainer Murray Baker said. “We haven’t decided what we’re going to do with her yet.”
Lizzie L’Amour collected the second Group One win of her career two runs back when she coasted home by a wide margin in the Herbie Dyke Stakes (2000m) at Te Rapa.
