A patient approach has also been adopted with the promising three-year-old I Am Queen by Cambridge trainer Stephen Marsh.
“She’s a serious filly and won so well at Taupo, but she went shin sore after that,” Marsh said.
“She’s back on the water walker and she’s a big filly so we’ll be taking our time with her.”
The daughter of Animal Kingdom put a wide margin on her maiden rivals when successful over 1000m at the end of December in her only appearance.
