The Australian-trained three-year-old Civil Disobedience will have a look around Ellerslie on Tuesday morning.
The New Zealand-bred son of Raise The Flag will gallop there ahead of Saturday’s Gr.1 Vodafone New Zealand Derby (2400m).
Trained by Darren Weir, Civil Disobedience has won four of his 10 starts including the Listed Tasmanian Derby (2200m). Ben Allen has been booked for the Derby ride.
The unbeaten Karaka Million (1200m) winner Avantage is also due to gallop at Ellerslie to further her preparation for the Gr.1 Sistema Stakes (1200m) on Saturday week.
