Group One placed Savabeel mare Endean Rose has been sold to Australian interests for a six figure sum in a deal brokered by gavelhouse.com and parent company New Zealand Bloodstock.
Endean Rose is the seventh six-figure horse sold via gavelhouse.com since the site’s launch as an auction platform in April 2016.
Trainer Iain Kennedy, who raced the mare with Linda Hunt and Andrew Burton, commented on Thursday "We never thought of her as an out-and-out champion but she's outdone herself,"
"We're happy with what we've achieved with her. It's a bittersweet thing selling her but sometimes it's just one of those things you have to do."
There is currently an gavelhouse.com Australia catalogue live online featuring tried horses from the likes of Chris Waller and Mick Price’s stables while entries for the next gavelhouse.com New Zealand auction are due on Monday 26 February at 7pm.
