Gifted New Zealand-bred filly Luvaluva is set to resume at Rosehill on Saturday week.
“I’m going to kick her off in the Hobartville against the boys because that allows me three weeks into the Keith Nolan Stakes at Kembla then two weeks into the Vinery and another two weeks into the Australian Oaks,” trainer John Sargent said.
By Mastercraftsman, Luvaluva won the Gr.2 Wakeful Stakes (2000m) last season and was turned out after she finished fourth in the Gr.1 VRC Oaks (2500m).
“She is a lot more mature, laid back and sharper than most of the good ones I’ve had,” Sargent said. “I expect her to go on with it.”
