Quality mare Francaletta is likely to head overseas later this year.
“She’s back in work and she’s had her first run along,” said Murray Baker, who trains the High Chaparral mare with Andrew Forsman.
“We’ll probably be aiming for Sydney with her, she spelled really well.”
Francaletta won the Gr.3 Taranaki Breeders’ Stakes (1400m) in the spring and finished runner-up in the Gr.2 Auckland Thoroughbred Breeders’ Stakes (1400m) before she was sent to the paddock.
