David and Emma-Lee Browne are more than happy with their Karaka Million (1200m) hope Hattie Bee ahead of Saturday’s event.
The Bernardini filly has returned a cheque in each of her three lead-up outings to the big money feature at Ellerslie.
“She’s done everything right all along and we’re just hoping it goes our way on Saturday,” Emma-Lee Browne said.
Hattie Bee will have plenty of support on track at Ellerslie on Saturday, with a syndicate of 64 women and one man who race under the Fun and Fascinators syndicate hoping their filly shocks the field and takes home the big prize.
