New Zealand’s Blackcaps cricket squad members Tim Southee, Matt Henry and Tom Latham will be involved in the barrier draw for Saturday’s Gr.3 Wallaceville Estate Castletown Wellington Cup (3200m).
The draw will take place at midday at Midland Park in Wellington, where members of the public will get the chance to win tickets to the Blackcaps v Pakistan one day international at the Basin Reserve on Friday, as well as signed shirts and a bat.
Key members of the Blackcaps will also be in attendance at Trentham on Saturday, with captain Kane Williamson to present the trophy to the winning Wellington Cup trainer.
