Morethanlucky (NZ) (Per Incanto-Viking Angel by Viking Ruler) and Time To Celebrate (NZ) (Per Incanto-Silver Cent by Centaine) enhanced their prospects of starting in the Group 1 Classic Mile later in the month when they continued their winning ways in Hong Kong on Sunday.
Two of the more progressive gallopers in Hong Kong, between them the Per Incanto four-year-olds have won seven races and recorded two minor placings in their last nine starts.
Hong Kong’s champion jockey Joe Moreira will ride top-rated Nothingilikemore in the Hong Kong Classic Mile, but he’s wary of a number of his rivals after Sunday’s action.
“It’s shaping up as a very competitive race,” Moreira said. “Time To Celebrate has improved so much that he can’t be overlooked, the horse that was third in that race along the outside rail (Doctor Geoff) looks to be coming good at the right time and even Frankie’s horse (Morethanlucky) is racing well.”
Per Incanto has 42 yearlings carded to sell at the upcoming NZ Bloodstock National Yearling Sale Series at Karaka, including 17 in the Premier session.
