New Zealand-bred Crack Me Up can go out on a high in Saturday’s Gr.2 Villiers Stakes (1600m) at Randwick on Saturday.
He is trained at Eagle Farm by Liam Birchley, who indicated the Mossman four-year-old will head for a break after the weekend.
Crack Me Up won the Listed Recognition Stakes (1350m) at Doomben last month and then ran fourth last Saturday in the Listed Brisbane Handicap (1600m).
Expatriate New Zealand jockey Jason Collett has been booked to ride Crack Me Up, who also won the Gr.3 Sunshine Coast Guineas (1600m) last season.
Bradbury Park will offer Crack Me Up’s half-brother (Lot 111) by Reliable Man during the Book 1 Sale at Karaka next month.
