New Zealand Bloodstock’s Ready to Run Sale of two-year-olds has proved to be the most successful sale of its kind in the southern hemisphere, with graduates amassing 110 stakes wins over the past five seasons.
The first lot of the 2017 sale will go under the hammer at Karaka at 11am on Wednesday with selling to commence at the same time the following day.
The Ready to Run Sale has been the source of 12 individual Group One winners, who have collectively won 19 Group One features over the past five seasons – New Zealand Bloodstock’s closest competitor had only one.
Top graduates include three-time Group One winners Gingernuts, Turn Me Loose, Sangster and Mongolian Khan.
