One of the country’s better-performed non-winners has undergone surgery since he last raced.
“Ohceedee’s been gelded and hopefully he can get out of maidens quickly and he looks the type that can put a few together,” trainer Steven Cole said.
“We’ll be looking toward the Karaka Million 3YO Classic (1600m) in January for him.”
Ohceedee finished third in the Listed Great Northern Foal Stakes (1400m) last season and this term he has placed twice more and came from the back of the field to run a close sixth in the Gr.2 Hawke’s Bay Guineas (1400m).
