Jake Bayliss is making the most of his early New Zealand opportunities.
The Australian jockey, who arrived last week, rode his third winner when successful aboard Gary Hennessy’s Roll The Gold in the Precast Concrete Manawatu Maiden (1400m) at Awapuni on Thursday.
Bayliss is based at Matamata after accepting an offer to ride for the training partnerships of Michael Moroney and Pam Gerard at Ballymore Stables and for Lance O'Sullivan and Andrew Scott at Wexford Stables.
