The enigmatic Animator will this week return to the scene of his latest success.
Not the easiest horse to second guess, he won for the fifth time in his career earlier this month at Awapuni, where he will contest a Rating 75 event over 2100m on Thursday.
“I’m never quite sure what to expect, he beats us most of the time, but he’s as fit as we can get him,” trainer Brendon Hawtin said. “Jonathan Riddell will ride him.”
