Iain Kennedy has been forced down a different path with his Group One performer Endean Rose.
The Rotorua trainer had intended to run the mare in Tuesday’s Gr.3 OMF Stakes (2000m) at Ellerslie on her way to the Gr.1 Cambridge Stud Zabeel Classic (2000m) on Boxing Day, but has had to change plans.
“She’s just had a few little issues and she’s not quite ready,” Kennedy said of his Gr.1 Livamol Classic (2040m) placegetter.
“I’ll freshen her up and go to the Cal Isuzu Stakes and then the Zabeel.”
