The Stephen Autridge and Jamie Richards-trained pair of Grazia and Imperium will both front up in Saturday week’s Listed Redwood Metropolitan Trophy Handicap (2500m) at Riccarton.
“They’ll run with a view to the New Zealand Cup,” Te Akau principal David Ellis said.
Grazia won the Listed Spring Classic (2000m) last time out while Imperium, who was third in last year’s Cup, was fourth over 2100m at Ashburton at his most recent appearance.
