Vin De Dance will attempt to press his claims for a start in the Gr.1 VRC Derby (2500m) when he makes his first Australian appearance at Caulfield on Wednesday.
The Murray Baker and Andrew Forsman-trained son of Roc de Cambes will run in a three-year- oldhandicap over 1600m.
“He’s going well and travelled over without any problem at all,” Baker said.
Vin De Dance was a debut winner at Pukekohe Park last month and finished runner-up in twosubsequent outings at Te Rapa.
Safely through Wednesday, Baker said Vin De Dance is likely to join stablemate and fellow Derbyhopeful Weather With You in the Listed Geelong Classic (2200m) on October 25.
