At Lot 46 Springtime Fever is a winner over 1000m in Australia and a daughter of champion juvenile and champion sprinting filly SPRING RAIN (Centaine).
Springtime Fever is by champion sire and broodmare sire, VOLKSRAAD who has sired the dams of Group One winners ABLE FRIEND, BEAUTY FLASH, SHAMEXPRESS, VOLKSTOK’N’BARRELL and KAWI.
Meanwhile of RELIABLE MAN’s star performers to date VOLKSRAAD is the dam-sire of Gr.1 Sires Produce Stakes runner up Belle du Nord, further adding to the credentials of Springtime Fever’s grey/chestnut colt born on 29 September. Located at Gordon Cunningham’s Curraghmore in New Zealand the mare and foal are in close proximity to the majority of the country’s leading stud farms, with Springtime Fever soon be ready for service this season.
