Two former Hong Kong gallopers are to join the stable of Lance O’Sullivan and Andrew Scott, although one of them won’t be seen for some time.
The well-travelled Galileo entire Giovanni Canaletto and Jetwings are both relocating to Matamata, but the former, who placed in last year’s Gr.1 Hong Kong Derby (2400m) will firstly be given a lengthy spell.
The five-year-old began his career with Aidan O’Brien in Ireland where he posted his sole victory and finished third in the Gr.1 Irish Derby (2400m) before transferring to Hong Kong.
Jetwings won three of his 12 starts up to 1200m from the stable of Richard Gibson.
