Talented four-year-old Royal Fashion doesn’t appear to be suffering any issues following a last-start hiccup.
The stakes performer tailed the field home earlier this month at Ruakaka, after which she was found to be suffering from cardiac arrhythmia.
“She didn’t show any signs of it before the race or since then,” trainer Mark Forbes said. “She may have a trial at Cambridge next Tuesday just to make sure.”
Royal Fashion has won twice from 10 attempts and in three stakes outings last season she finished runner-up in the Gr.2 Mongolian Khan Trophy (1200m) and fourth in the Gr.2 Sarten Memorial (1400m).
In between times, she was unplaced on an off track in the Gr.1 New Zealand 1000 Guineas (1600m).
