Opie Bosson is in a confident frame of mind ahead of Saturday’s Gr.1 Windsor Park Plate (1600m) at Hastings.
He has been delighted with the progress made by his mount Gingernuts, who turned in a grand performance for fifth in the Gr.1 Tarzino Trophy (1400m) after copping interference at the top of the straight.
“It was a top run,” Bosson said. “To pick himself up in the run home like he did was pretty impressive. A little bit better track will help him and the blinkers going on has definitely helped as well.”
