In-form New Zealand stayer Chocante will have a change of rider at Randwick on Saturday.
The son of Shocking will be partnered by Blake Shinn in the Gr.2 Kingston Town Stakes and trainer Stephen Marsh is hoping the top Sydney jockey will also take the mount in the Gr.1 The Metropolitan on September 30.
Chocante won the Gr.2 Brisbane Cup in June and in his only start since he finished third behind Winx in the Gr.2 Chelmsford Stakes with former champion New Zealand apprentice Rory Hutchings in the saddle.
