Cambridge three-year-old Vin De Dance suggested he had a bright future over ground following his debut victory at Pukekohe on Wednesday.
“He’s a nice, big and mature sort of horse who will hopefully make a stayer – whether it’s this preparation or in the autumn we’ll have to see,” said Andrew Forsman, who trains the son of Roc de Cambes with Murray Baker.
A trial winner last month, Vin De Dance is raced by the international syndication company OTI with Novara Park principal Luigi Muollo.
