Black type performer Royal Fashion was suffering from an irregular heart beat following her disappointing performance when resuming at Ruakaka.
The Snitzel mare tailed the field home on Saturday in her first appearance since she finished runner-up in the Gr.3 Mongolian Khan Trophy in March.
A veterinary clearance will be required before the Mark Forbes-trained Royal Fashion can race again.
