Apprentice Steph Thornton chalked up her first Saturday metro winner at Moonee Valley, as Here To There banked two wins in seven days for trainer Ciaron Maher.
The Ladbrokes Handicap (1500m) featured a few returning prospects but it was the rock-hard fit
eight-year-old that delivered a memorable win for 18-year-old Thornton.
It was just Thornton's third career ride at The Valley, and she's already found her way to the winner's stall.
Here To There was a winner at Caulfield last Saturday and the quick back up proved to be no trouble for the son of Good Journey.
Shelby Park sold Here to There for $48,000 through their 2011 NZB draft and he has now won over A$350,000.
