New Zealand-bred galloper Broadside is in fine order to resume at Rosehill on Saturday.
The Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott-trained son of Raise The Flag will step out in the Premier’s Cup, his first start since he ran third in the Stayers’ Cup at Randwick in June.
“He wasn’t out in the paddock for too long and he looks sensational,” racing manager Emma Pearce said.
“He’s pleasing everyone here. The 1900 metres first-up is a bit of an ask, but he’s going the right way.”
Broadside won two of his three starts for Levin trainer Geoff Haigh and he has won a further three times from his Randwick base.
