Foxbridge Plate runner-up Close Up will head to the central districts for his next appearance.
Trainer Shelley Hale has confirmed a tilt at the Gr.1 Tarzino Trophy at Hawke’s Bay on Saturday week for the eight-year-old.
“We may as well have a go,” she told The Informant. “They got a little kick on us on Saturday, but once he worked into the clear his race fitness came through.
