Matamata trainer Danica Guy is marking time with the smart sprinter-miler Snapshot.
“I’m just waiting for the good tracks for him,” she said. “He’s going really well and I took him to Taupo the other day for a gallop, but he just doesn’t enjoy wet ground.”
Part-owned by former All Black captain Richie McCaw, Snapshot has won six of his 11 starts and last raced when he finished a close-up eighth in the Listed Newmarket Handicap at Ellerslie on Boxing Day.
