Expatriate New Zealand trainer Mark Walker understandably has a soft spot for Darci Brahma.
He prepared him to win five Group One races before his retirement to The Oaks Stud in Cambridge and the son of Danehill is now contributing to the success of Walker’s Singapore stable.
“The last five Darcis I’ve sent to the races have all won, which is quite incredible,” he said.
Major Tom, Prince Darci, Distinctive Darci, The Cosmos and Justice Light have recently helped to push Walker’s winning tally for the season to 66 and 21 clear of his nearest rival.
