Weather forced the abandonment of the Te Aroha meeting on Friday.
Severe overnight winds damaged the main grandstand roof and following an inspection by Racing Integrity Unit representatives and club officials the decision was made to call off the fixture.
Even though the track was safe to race on the damage to the grandstand was such that the venue could not operate in a safe manner.
