New Zealander Cameron Ring has excelled at the Irish National Stud Thoroughbred Breeders’ Course.
As a recipient of the New Zealand Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association Keith and Faith Taylor Equine Scholarship sponsored by the Taylor Family, he has been studying in Ireland for the last six months and last week he graduated from the Diploma course with honours.
“Cameron was a fantastic ambassador for New Zealand and the NZTBA and he created a very good impression with all our staff, guest lecturers and on our visits to various equine establishments,” said Sally Carroll, of the Irish National Stud.
Ring will shortly return to New Zealand where he will join the staff at the Taylor family’s farm Trelawney Stud to put his diploma to good use.
He joins a long list of successful NZTBA scholarship recipients since the first student went in 1991, who have excelled at the course and continue to work in the thoroughbred industry in New Zealand and throughout the world.
