Allan Sharrock’s confidence in Art Deco’s upcoming stakes prospects have been further boosted.
The Taranaki trainer was delighted with the Road To Rock’s mare’s effort to finish runner-up in a 1000 metre trial at Waverley on Tuesday.
“She just went super. We’re looking forward to the Opunake Cup, that has always been her main aim, and then she’ll go to the Merial Mile at Awapuni,” he said.
Art Deco has impressively made her way through the grades with five wins and nine placings from her 14 appearances.
