Tony Bambry has his eye on a tidy prize for Blondlign later this month.
“There’s a three-year-old race at New Plymouth worth $40,000 so we might as well have a crack there,” the Awapuni horseman said.
Bambry produced Blondlign to break her maiden on her home track in Saturday’s Manawatu Office Products 3YO off the back of three consecutive runner-up finishes.
“The form around her has been good – she got beaten by Starossa, who goes pretty well, and then by Manhattan Flame, who subsequently won again so we were expecting a really bold showing,” Bambry said.
