Hamilton trainer Graeme Rogerson already has a Golden Slipper win to his credit, but not one prepared from his New Zealand base.
He produced Polar Success to win the world's richest two-year-old race at Rosehill in 2003 to become the only New Zealander to train the winner of the two-year-old showpiece.
"I've entered seven for the Golden Slipper. No one has ever won a Slipper with a New Zealand-trained horse and I'd like to do it," Rogerson said.
"We've got some really nice two-year-olds entered. We've kept them in work through the winter and they will all trial early in the new season."
Among the seven entries is a filly by Fastnet Rock out of dual Guineas winner Katie Lee.
