Stakes performer Perfect Harmonee is likely to be seen to advantage in a fresh state.
"I think he'll be best first-up, he's got the ability but he's been a weak horse," said Evan Rayner, who trains with his daughter J.J.
Perfect Harmonee will be making his first appearance for the Rayners when he resumes from a lengthy break in Thursday's Wanganui Farmlands 1200 at Waverley.
The Nadeem gelding, who was runner-up in the 2015 Listed Wanganui Guineas, was formerly prepared by his part-owner Paul Belsham.
